IntroductionProcess control systems are used in industrial plants throughout the world to control various aspects of the liquids, gases, and semi-solids used in product manufacturing. The project will cover the basic concepts of the equipment. These concepts include common process terminology and process safety. This project also introduces operations of measuring and manually controlling liquid level, which are common in process control applications.
Description of the Process
The workstation is built of high strength welded steel . Industrial grade components are assembled and plumbed into a closed loop circuit to control the water flow between two tanks or the liquid level in a tank . All components are connected to the sockets on the control panel to enable signals and measuring devices connect to a wide variety of control configurations .
